A unique, beautiful, hand carved pine screen mirror. The mirror has been made using a stunning pine screen door with ornate carvings and decorative detailing. The mirror comprises of 9 panels with mirror glass, the top 3 featuring carved tracery. The mirror has 6 hand carved rosette panels above a simple base rail. The carving is of a fine quality and the design of the screen is unusual and striking. The screen door retains some original features, such as hinge pieces, key plate and catch, providing an interesting element to the mirror. The mirror glass is new and as such has so damage or wear. The pine door is stripped and has a lovely colour and pretty grain. There are some slight signs of wear, indicating the screen's age, and giving character and style. There is some separation at the joints and some scratches and light knocks. The metal hinge pieces, catch and lock plates have some light tarnish and surface rust. There are some knocks to the screen corners. All wear adds great character and the mirror is perfect for a shabby chic / rustic or even chateau style interior. The mirror is large and therefore would be a truly unique and beautiful centrepiece within a home or business.
