An Antique Oak Pew with One Carved End Gothic Style C.1910 Ref 865
Dimensions:W: 240cm (94.5")H: 90cm (35.4")D: 34cm (13.4")
A lovely, antique, oak pew with one carved end. The pew dates to C.1910 and has a beautiful Gothic style design of the period. The pew has two pretty carved flowers, within a circular carving on one end and both pew ends have lovely Gothic style carved edges. The pew has a panelled back and deep seat. The pew has had some restoration, one end has been replaced and is therefore not carved. There are some signs of wear and marks due to age and the seat has a cracked appearance due to slight separation between the seat planks. There are some deep scratches on the carved end of the pew and a knock to the back rail. The back has some dark stained spots. A lovely pew that would be perfect for use at a kitchen table or perhaps in a large hallway. The pew would also be ideal for cafe and would suit a rustic or gothic interior. A solid and useable seat with great character and charm.
