A pair of decorative, reclaimed, modern reproduction cast iron urns. The urns are very ornate with a traditional fluted shape, decorative top and heavy base. The urns have mythical style heads around the central body and a handle on each side. The urns have been stripped, burnished and lacquered and they have an attractive silvery black finish. The urns are are modern, have been cast in sections and are heavy and solid. The urns are suited to interior rather than exterior use and may need re-sealing periodically. The urns are perfect for displaying flowers or used as interior decor pieces. As expected of reclaimed items there are some slight signs of wear and use. There are some marks, scratches, light tarnish and surface rust to the iron, especially to the bowl. There are a few chips and knocks to the base and bottom of urn and some slight splitting to the design around the top of the urns where it has been cast separately. The urns have a very pretty look and would be ideal for displaying flowers in a period or country property.
