An amazing, one of a kind, bespoke office desk made using the reclaimed wing flap of a Panavia Tornado plane. This stunning item has been crafted using the wing flap as the desk top and the other components have been made from new materials to compliment the wing. The sides of the wing flap have a fantastic curved shape and the machined parts at the end of the flap are titanium. The desk top sits upon curved legs made of brush finished aluminium. The bolts and clamps are stainless steel and the bracing tube between the legs is brushed stainless steel. The desk angle can be adjusted using an allen key. The Panavia Tornado was built by Panavia Aircraft and 992 were built between 1979-1998. The tornado was retired in April 2019. The wing flap has been reclaimed from a retired aircraft and the desk has been constructed using the finest quality materials. The desk has a wonderful design that compliments the wing flap and has a contemporary / industrial look that would look amazing in any office. There are many features that refer to the wing flaps previous use and there are model numbers etched into the arms at the back of the desk top. The wing flap does have some slight imperfections with some scratches and marks in the grey paintwork, as expected of a working aircraft piece. These marks add great character to the desk and illustrate its great history. The one of a kind desk is a must for aircraft and tornado enthusiasts and is a truly special item that would be the perfect talking point for any office or home.
