A very interesting and attractive table made using a very old, reclaimed, antique oak planked door, mounted on reclaimed modern wooden trestle legs. The top is rustic and full of character with the door comprising of 6 old oak planks that have now been stripped, door furniture removed and finished with an oil giving a beautiful colour and grain. The wooden trestle legs have been sprayed black and provide a stylish contrast to the rustic top. The underside of the top has batons that fix the top to the base. The table has some of the imperfections found in antique items, further adding to the tables rustic charm and therefore it may be best suited to garden use. The antique top is very aged in appearance. There are splits, treated woodworm holes, some stains from door hardware and uneven edges. There are some splits, chips, colour variation and deep scratches and a large hole on the edge of one plank. The trestle legs have some scratches and marks and the feet do have some small cracks and splits but they are solid and sturdy. The table is a unique and very attractive looking item that is both useful and stylish. Ideal for a cottage or rustic setting, the table is perfect for outdoor dining, plant potting or for perhaps displaying items in a business or home.
