A very large, aged, reclaimed oak beam. The beam is thick and chunky with a fantastic rustic appearance. The beam has a waxed finish giving the wood an attractive colour and shine. The beam has a lovely reclaimed, rustic, look and has character signs of wear and age. The beam has some rough edges, notches and cut marks. There are some surface splits that do not affect the structural integrity of the beam. The beam has a small notch near one end. The beam has some uneven and rounder edges. Please see pictures for details. The beam is solid and heavy and ideal for an inglenook fireplace or rustic home project.
