A reclaimed antique oak dresser base / cupboard. The item dates to the 1930's and was used in a school. It was originally a dresser with shelf top but this has since been removed. The oak has been sanded to bare wood and is ready for purchaser to wax and polish, paint or stain to suit. The dresser base is solid and very well made and the wood has an attractive colour and grain with a rustic style appearance. The cupboard comprises of two deep drawers with pretty metal handles and two doors below that hide a large storage area with shelf. The base could have a dresser top added to it and still has the wooden runners for a top to be added, but it is also ideal for use as a cupboard. The dresser base is antique and therefore has some character signs of use and wear and has had some repairs. The oak has some scratches and knocks. There are some larger chips to the edges and a small scoop out of one door edge, please see pictures for details. The cupboard has had some repairs and the skirting has been replaced. We can stain the skirting to match, for no extra charge, if required. The dresser base has a rustic and pretty appearance and will be a stylish and useful item for a home or business.
