A very pretty, Art Nouveau style, stained glass window. The stained glass is set in to an opening crittall frame with handle and window stay, which is then set in to a pine frame. The glass is a beautiful copy of Art Nouveau style, featuring a blue flower and leaves, in the style typical of the era. The flower is framed by red border glass and the leadwork is set into diamond patterns across the window. The crittall frame is set in to a thick and chunky pine frame that has been painted. The window has a delicate opener and a window stay. The glass has been signed and dated "Cliff Durant 1988". The window is of a petite size, ideal for a shepherds hut or perhaps a decorative window within the home. The window is in very good solid condition with some slight signs of wear, as expected of reclaimed items. There are some small scratches and marks to the glass but no breaks or cracks. There is a larger darker mark near the top of the flower. The pine frame has some slightly rough and uneven edges. The paint has some chips and knocks. The window stay is bent slightly. The window is a beautiful example of fine craftmanship and Art Nouveau style and would be perfect for adding character to a home or small space.
