A very attractive, original, Georgian oak corner cupboard. The cupboard has a nice shape with an attractive front face featuring mouldings around its edges and is suited to wall mounting or placing on a counter top. The oak has a rich colour and has been waxed or varnished. The front of the cupboard has an open face, allowing for access to the two painted pine shelves with a serpentine edge. The back of the cupboard is pine. The cupboard does have some signs of wear commensurate with age. The cupboard has had some woodworm that has been treated but there are some holes. There are areas of slight damage where the wood has been knocked or broken away, especially the corners and edges. There are some light knocks, marks and chips and some splinters and surface cracks. The pine back has a rustic, worn, appearance. Please see pictures for details. The cupboard has a fantastic period appearance and is ideal for storing glasses or small collectables. The cupboard has great antique character and charm.
