SOLD

An original, antique, reclaimed corner sink made by the successful pottery makers Johnson Bros (Hanley Ltd), Stoke on Trent. The sink is of a petite size and is ideal for a cloak room, shepherds hut or small shed or studio. The sink is designed to be fitted in to the corner of a room or it could be mounted on to a table top. The sink has a nice shape, with 5 sides, and a left hand side tap. The enamel is in good condition and the sink has a large painted makers mark on its underside. The sink is in good antique condition with some signs of use and wear, as expected. There are some stains and water marks which may improve slightly with further cleaning. The tap has some tarnish and residue paint and there is tarnish to the metal around where the plug sits. There is some surface rust to the fixing screws underneath. Some of the painted stamp is scuffed. There is a scratch to the enamel on the rim of the sink at the front.  Please see pictures for details. The sink is a nice example of antique sanitary wear and would be ideal for a smaller space.
