A rustic, reclaimed, antique French oak table. The nicely designed table has great character and comprises of two oak planks set onto four thick oak legs with chamfered detailing. There are oak corbels under the tabletop. The table is of a smaller height and therefore would make an ideal console table, display table for a shop or perhaps used in a breakfast nook. The oak has a fantastic rustic appearance with much character and a nice wood grain. The oak appears to have had a wax finish or similar at some point. The table is in solid condition with some signs of its considerable age. The top has some holes, marks and chips. The oak has a rustic, uneven appearance with some flaking and damage. There is a small gap between the table top planks and the ends have upturned slightly, coming away from the corbels. There are signs of woodworm that has now been treated. The oak has some colour variation and staining and the legs have some residue paint marks. Please see pictures for condition details. The table has a very appealing antique rustic look that would fit nicely in a country or rustic interior. The table is a lovely antique item with great character and charm.
