A fantastic, antique, reclaimed brass and cast iron espagnolette bolt, C.1900. The bolt is of an attractive and traditional design with a large brass handle. The plate holding the handle has the initials RG and it has decorative detailing. The bolt has further brass detailing and cast iron end caps. The bolt is in fully working order and is ideal for French doors. The bolt will be sent mounted on the wood plank shown in the photographs. The bolt is in good reclaimed condition with some signs of wear and age, as expected of antique items. The bolt ends are cast iron. The metal bar has some surface rust and scratches. The brass has some tarnish and wear. Please see pictures for condition details. The bolt is a great item for adding period character and charm to a door and is a well made and desireable item.
