A reclaimed antique brass rim lock and brass keep, likely to date to C.1900. The rim lock is for use on the left hand side of a door. The lock is paired with brass handles that are reclaimed but modern. The lock and keep come with reclaimed fixing screws. The lock has no key and is therefore suitable for internal use and for a door that does not require locking. The brass has some scratches and tarnish. The outer edge of the keep is slightly out of shape. The handles have some scratches. The reclaimed screws have some tarnish. Please see pictures for condition details. The lock is a quality antique item and it would add great period charm to a door.
Lock 14.7cm x 8.9cm
Thickness of lock body 2cm
Thickness 3.7cm at lock end
Handles currently set up for a door 4.2cm thick approx. (The handles could be adjusted to probably accommodate a door 0.5cm thinner)
