A very attractive, reclaimed, pine Gothic style door for internal or external use. The ex-church door is very solid and well made. The pine has been varnished and has an attractive deep colour. The main feature of the door is the beautiful arched top in the Gothic style. The external face of the door is planked and the internal face has a thick pine framework and planked panels. The door retains a metal finger plate but it will need some cleaning or replacing. There are three large hinges and an escutcheon plate cover but all other hardware will need to be supplied by purchaser. The door is reclaimed and therefore has some signs of use and wear. There are some knocks and chips to the wood, especially the edges. There is some splintering and knocks to the base. There are some scratches and marks and purchaser may wish to strip and refinish the door to suit. There are some holes and marks where door hardware has been removed. The door is very well made and solid and has a stylish appearance. Perfect for a period or contemporary project, the door is a very desirable item.
