A handsome, reclaimed, painted mahogany door suitable for internal or external use. The door is very heavy and solid and dates to C.1900. The door has been very well made with mortise and tenon joint and gunstock detailing. The lower part of the door has two recessed panels and pencil moulding on one face. The top of the door has two large rectangular panels for glazing. We can glaze the doors for an extra charge, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The door has been painted white but there are chips, flakes and some discolouration and therefore purchaser will need to sand and re-paint the door to suit. The door is in very good antique condition with some slight wear and damage that is expected from age. There are some small knocks, marks and chips, especially to the edges. There are some holes and marks where door hardware has been removed. We can patch repair holes for an extra charge, please contact us for details. Door hardware will need to be supplied by purchaser. There is some glazing bead missing at the base of one top panel and some slight damage to another bead. The door height may need very slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details.
