A reclaimed, stripped pine, internal or external four panel door likely to date to the early 20th Century. The door is well made with mortise and tenon joints and has a traditional design with two recessed panels at the base and two larger panels above that have been glazed. The glass is old and WILL NOT meet current safety standards and therefore MUST be changed before use. We can re-glaze the door for an extra charge, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The pine has been stripped but the door has stains and discolouration and will need further sanding and finishing by purchaser to suit. The door is reclaimed and therefore has some signs of age and some damage, as expected. There are some knocks and chips, especially to the edges and corners. There are some surface splits and cracks. The door has had some filler applied to the panel sides. There are some holes from hardware removal and there is an indentation where the old lock sat. The door width may need some levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The door is a very nice item with traditional character and is ideal for a period home.
