A reclaimed painted, glazed, hardwood door for internal or external use. The door is likely to date to the early 20th Century and is very heavy and well made. The door is traditional in design with two flush panels at the base. The top half of the door has a bronze casement, glazed with clear ripple glass. The door has been painted white but the paint has chipping, flaking and marks and you may wish to sand and re-paint the door to suit. The door is in solid condition with some wear and signs of age, as expected of reclaimed antiques. There are some knocks and chips to the door, especially the edges and corners. One edge has been knocked and has splintering. The hinges have some tarnish and residue paint. The bronze casement has some tarnish. The door has a lock but no key and it will need to be removed and replaced if the door is going to be used externally. The door height may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has an interesting design and it is a nice period item to add character to a home.
