A reclaimed painted pine door, suitable for internal or external use. The door has a framed ledge and brace, jointed construction and is heavy, solid and well made. The front of the door has a plank design. The pine has been painted, light grey on the front face and dark brown on the other face. There are chips and cracking to the paint and you may wish to sand and re-paint it to suit. The door has an escutcheon and flap or peep hole but you may wish to remove these and the hardware will need replacing. The base of the door, on the internal face, has a cut out of approximately 2cm (please see the last picture showing the door on its side to show the cut out clearly).
The door is reclaimed and therefore has some signs of use and wear, as expected. The door has some chips and knocks, especially to the door edges. The door has had a knock, near one of the hinges. One of the top joints has some slight separation. The paint has some chipping and cracking. The door height may need slight levelling. There are some holes, indentations and marks where door hardware has been removed. The hinges have some tarnish. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has nice character and is well made and would be a useful item for the home.
Please note: We have a shorter door of the same design available for sale, please see our listing reference DB0768 for details.
