Code: DE0461
Dimensions:
An elegant Edwardian pine front door. The door is solid and well made with mortise and tenon joints. The door has three recessed panels and above the solid panels there are 12 panels with an arched shape to the top panels, glazed with textured glass. There is shelf detailing below the glazing panels, a design feature often found on Edwardian doors. Please note, the glass is not toughened and WILL NOT MEET CURRENT SAFETY STANDARDS and MUST be changed before use. We can re-glaze the door for an extra charge, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The door has a space for a letterplate.
The door is in solid reclaimed condition with some signs of age, as expected. The door has some holes and marks where hardware has been removed. The edges of the letterplate space have some damage. The door has some knocks and chips. The door has been painted dark green on the external face and white on the internal face but the paint has chips and knocks and you will need to sand and re-paint the door to suit. Please see pictures for condition details. The door is a nice example of Edwardian design and it would make a lovely period feature for a home.
