A very elegant Edwardian pine front door. The door has a style typical of the era, featuring an oval panel ready for glazing, with a decorative eyebrow above and shelf below. Underneath the glazing panel are three solid raised and fielded panels to the front face. The door is solid and well made and will look fantastic with a stained glass or plain panel. We can quote for glazing, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The door has no door furniture and will need to be supplied by purchaser, but there is a space for letterbox and lock. The lock hole could be patch repaired if required, for an extra charge, please contact us for details. The door is antique and therefore has some signs of wear and will need some preparation before use. The paint has chips and peeling and the door will need to be stripped and refinished. The pine has some small knocks, surface cracks and splits. Holes and marks can be seen where the door furniture has been removed. One edge has some slight damage, please see pictures for details. The door will need very slight leveling at the height and widths vary slightly from top to bottom. The door hinges are present but have surface rust. The door is a lovely example of Edwardian design and would add a great deal of character to a home.
