A handsome Edwardian front door with a large circular glazed panel. The door is solid and well made and has been stripped to bare wood, ready for finishing by purchaser, with either an exterior oil or paint. The top of the door has a large circular panel with flat base, glazed with 6mm plain glass. There is a shelf below the glazed panel, a traditional Edwardian feature. The base of the door has 2 square and 2 larger rectangular panels with decorative mouldings around the edges. The door requires hardware, to be supplied by purchaser, and there is a space for a letterbox. The door has some signs of wear due to age. There are some knocks, chips and surface splits. There are some marks, stains and discolouration from cleaning, especially to the panels. There are holes where door hardware has been removed and some filler present. The letter box space has some uneven edges. We can patch repair holes for an EXTRA CHARGE, please contact us for details. The door may need some levelling, especially to the height. The door is a wonderful example of Edwardian design and would make a fantastic feature within a home.
