A very pretty pine Edwardian front door with stained and plain glass panel. The door has a classic Edwardian design with shelf and apron above the letterbox opening. The lower half of the door has three vertical solid panels and the top panel has been glazed with a leaded piece of glass with plain textured glass, surrounded by stained border glass. The glass is in good condition, without breaks or cracks. The pine has been stripped to bare wood. There is some staining left from the removal of existing paint and therefore the door is best suited to an exterior paint finish. The door is solid and in good condition but does have some slight signs of wear due to age. There are light marks, stains and paint residue to both sides. A few small scratches and marks to the glass. There are some small holes and marks from hardware removal. The lock hole and letter box space have been left for purchaser to add hardware but we can patch repair these holes for an extra charge if required, please contact us for details. There are some small surface splits in the wood. There is a small amount of damage near the letter box space but a letterbox should cover this. A small amount of filler can be seen. Door width may need very slight levelling. A very good quality and handsome door, illustrating fantastic Edwardian design. A very desirable item that would add great style to a home.
