An elegant Edwardian painted pine front door with glazed panels. The door is solid and well made with mortise and tenon joints and it currently has a blue painted external face and white painted internal face. The door has 12 textured, glazed, panels but one has a crack and all panels will need to be re-glazed with glass that meets current safety standards. We can quote for re-glazing, please contact us for details and to discuss your requirements. The door has a shelf and apron under the glazed panels and the lower half of the door has 3 recessed panels with moulded edging. Hardware is required, to be supplied by purchaser, but the door does have a metal letter plate and escutcheon but please note there is no key to the door. The door is solid and well made but there are some signs of wear and age, as expected of antique items. The paint has some chips and cracks and purchaser may wish to strip and re-paint the door. There are some holes and marks where door hardware has been removed. We can patch repair the lock hole for an extra charge, if required, please contact us for details. The door base has some knocks and chips and there are some further light knocks to the pine. Please see pictures for condition details.
