An attractive Edwardian painted pine front door with glazed panels, dating to C.1900. The door is solid and well made with mortise and tenon joints and it currently has a blue painted external face and white painted internal face. The door has 9 glazed panels, fitted with textured glass, but the glass does not meet current safety standards and will need to be replaced. We can quote for re-glazing, please contact us for details and to discuss your requirements. The lower half of the door has a solid raised and fielded panel with bolection moulding. There is a space for a letter box plate, to be supplied by purchaser. The door has some signs of wear and age, as expected of antique items. The paint has some chips and cracks and purchaser may wish to strip and re-paint the door to suit. There are some holes and marks where door hardware has been removed. There are some knocks and chips to the edges and moulding. The door has some existing lock hardware that will need to be removed and replaced by purchaser as there is no key to the door.  Door size and width may need slight levelling.  Please see pictures for condition details. The door has a lovely appearance and is well made, illustrating quality Edwardian design, and it would make a lovely feature within a home.
