An attractive, reclaimed, Edwardian painted pine external cottage door. The door is solid and well made and has a nice country style appearance with a planked panel at the base. The top of the door has 6 panels that are glazed with clear glass. PLEASE NOTE: the glass is not toughened and will not meet current safety standards. The bottom 3 panels, at least, will need to be changed but please check with safety regulations to see if all panels will need to be changed. We can quote to re-glaze the door with safety glass, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The internal face of the door has a brace across the planked panel. The door has been painted in grey and white but the paint has chips, bubbling and marks and purchaser may wish to sand and re-paint the door to suit. The door is in good reclaimed condition with some signs of use and wear, as expected. There are some scratches to the glass. There are some knocks, holes and chips, especially to the edges and corners. The door has some marks and holes from hardware removal and the base is unpainted where the old drip bar was removed. We can patch repair hardware holes for an extra charge, please contact us for details and a quote. The hinges have some surface rust. The base of the door has had a patch repair.
