A very large and heavy, reclaimed, stripped pine six panel door. The door is very thick, wide and well made. The pine has been stripped in a strip tank and the wood has an attractive colour and grain. Due to stripping the door may not now be suitable for painting and is for internal use only. Both faces of the door have the same design with six solid raised and fielded panels, with mouldings, of various sizes. The door is in solid condition with some signs of age and some damage, as expected of reclaimed antique items. The door has some holes and marks from hardware removal. There are some knocks, chips and damage, mainly to the edges and corners. There is some damage where the original hinges sat. The door has a large surface split near one of the top hinge slots. There are some small holes, especially to the beading around the panels and top of the door. There is some wood filler in places. The door height may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The door is of a very good size, heavy and has an attractive period look and would add great character to a home.
