A very attractive and unusual reclaimed Arts and Crafts internal door. The door comprises of a thick pine core with an oak face applied to both sides. The applied face has been made using reclaimed oak wall paneling and has fine detailing. Each side has 8 flat faced panels and detailing typical of the Arts and Crafts era. Each side has a small metal key plate but please note the door has no key. Both sides have a varnished finish. The door is very thick and solid. The door is suited for internal use and may perhaps be ideal for a cupboard or wardrobe. The door is a reclaimed item and therefore has some slight signs of wear. There are some holes and marks where door hardware has been removed. Some slight knocks, chips and areas where the varnish has worn. Some slight discolouration and staining. There is some tarnish to the metal door furniture. There is a small amount of damage to one side and some knocks to the edges. The door has a very attractive appearance and is solid and well made. An ideal door for adding character and period charm to a home.
Please note: We have several doors with a similar design, some of which have differing wooden faces. Please see our other listings for details.
