A very large and heavy, reclaimed, stripped pine six panel door. The door is very thick and wide and very well made with mortise and tenon joints. The pine has been stripped in a strip tank and the wood has an attractive colour and grain. Due to stripping the door has been left with some dampness from caustic and cannot be painted and therefore the door is suited to internal use only. Both faces of the door have the same design with six solid raised and fielded panels of various sizes. Hardware will need to be supplied by purchaser and the door only has 1 hinge at present. As expected of reclaimed items the door has some signs of wear and age. A small amount of filler can be seen, there are some patch repairs and there are some small holes where hardware has been removed. The door has some knocks and surface splits and the edges and corners have some knocks and slight damage. The pine has some scratches and marks. The door height may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The door is of a very good size, very heavy, and has an attractive period look. The door has an abundance of style and would add great character to a home.
