A large, reclaimed, stripped pine four panel door. The door is thick, heavy and very well made. The pine has been stripped in a strip tank and the wood has an attractive colour and grain. Due to stripping the door has been left with some dampness from caustic and cannot be painted and therefore the door is suited to internal use only. Both faces of the door have the same design with four solid panels surrounded by mouldings. As expected of reclaimed items the door has some signs of wear and age. There is some residue paint but much of it has been removed. Some filler can be seen and there are some small holes where hardware has been removed. The door has some slight separation to joints and there are some knocks and cracks, some of which have been glued. The base of the door has some damage and dampness and there is some dampness to the edges. The pine has some scratches and marks. The door height and width may need very slight adjusting. Please see pictures for condition details. The door is of a very good size, very heavy, and has an attractive period look. The door is ideal for adding character and style to a home.
