A very heavy, reclaimed, pitch pine glazed Edwardian internal door. The door has been well made and has a nice appearance with gunstock stiles and recessed panels with bolection moulding. The top of the door has nine panels that have been glazed with textured glass. Please note, two panels have breaks or cracks and two panels are missing the glass and the door will need re-glazing with glass THAT MEETS CURRENT SAFETY STANDARDS. We can re-glaze the door for an extra charge, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The door has been stripped and has a nice wood grain but it does have some discolouration and some texture to the pine in areas. The door is in solid condition with signs of age and wear, as expected. The door has some filled holes where hardware was removed. There are some shallow indentations where there are wood knots. The door has had some patch repairs. The door has some surface cracks and splits and some slight separation to some joints but the door is solid and stable. There are some knocks and chips to the pine, especially the edges and corners. The door height may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has a good period appearance and is very heavy and solid and would make a nice feature in a home once re-glazed and finished.
