A reclaimed, internal pine door with glazing, likely to date to the early 20th Century. The door has two recessed panels at the base with mouldings around them. The top of the door has 9 panels, fitted with ripple / water glass. The glass WILL NOT MEET CURRENT SAFETY REQUIREMENTS and MUST be changed. We can re-glaze the door for an extra charge, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The pine has been stripped to bare wood but please note there is some damp left from stripping and the door is not suitable for painting.
The door is a reclaimed antique and has some signs of wear and some damage, as expected. The door has some knocks, chips and splinters, especially to the edges and corners. The side edges have some damage, knocks and splintering. The pine has some surface cracks. There are some holes and marks from hardware removal. The pine has some discolouration and staining and there is some paint residue, glue and wood filler visible. The door height and width may need slight levelling. One hinge is missing and the other has surface rust and you will need to supply new hinges. There is a lock but no key and you will need to remove and replace it. Please see pictures for condition details. The door is of a good size and has a lovely period design, ideal for adding character to a home.
Please note: We have a slimmer door of a similar design available for sale. Please see our reference DI0879 for details.
