Dimensions:
A reclaimed stripped pine six panel internal door, likely to date to the early 20th Century. The door has been well made and has a very nice traditional appearance with six recessed panels, small at the top and larger at the bottom, with decorative mouldings around them. The pine has been stripped but there is some residue glue on one side and some small areas with residue paint and you will need to sand the door. The door is in solid condition with some damage and signs of age, as expected of reclaimed items. The pine has some knocks and chips. One edge has a large split in the wood (picture 12). The bottom edge has a thin section shaved away from the side and there is some residue paint in the groove. Some patches of paint and discolouration can be seen. There is some dampness left from stripping the pine and therefore the door is not suitable for painting. The door has some wood knots. There are some holes and marks left from hardware removal. One corner has been cut and the door is therefore shorter at this point and you may wish to level the height and also the width slightly. The hinges have some tarnish. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has an attractive period look and would add great character to a home.
