A handsome, reclaimed, oak Cardiff door, for internal use. The door is likely to date to the early 20th Century and it is well made and has a very nice design. The door has elegant gunstock stiles and the base of the door has recessed panels with beaded detailing. The top of the door has the multiple panels, of differing sizes, that are glazed. The two large central panels have been glazed with wired glass. There is clear ripple glass bordering the central panels and in-between them. There are six small square panels with circular lead. Please ensure the glass meets current safety standards. If the glass does not meet safety standards it MUST be changed. The door has had a varnished or stained finish but the finish has discolouration and fading and you may wish to sand and refinish the door to suit.

The door is antique and has some signs of age and wear, as expected. The door has a split in one of the base panels and therefore the door is suitable for internal use only. The door has had some patch repairs to hardware holes and these repairs have been carried out using oak. The varnish or stain has some discolouration and staining. There are some knocks, scratches and splinters to the oak. The base of the door has a small knock and some splintering to the wood. There are some marks and small holes from hardware removal. The door height and width may need some levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has a very nice appearance that would be fantastic for a period property and it will make a very desirable item for the home.
