A set of elegant, reclaimed, antique fire tiles, likely to date to the late 19th or early 20th Century. The set comprises of 14 tiles, 6 large and 8 smaller and are designed to sit with 3 large and 4 smaller tiles on either side of a cast iron tiled fire, but could be used for other interior design projects. The larger tiles are a medium brown colour and the smaller tiles are textured with a raised leaf and flower design in green with beige and light brown borders. The tiles are in solid condition with some light damage and signs of age. Some of the tiles have knocks and chips to the edges. Some of the sides of the tiles have some discolouration and white marks. There are some small knocks to the front face of the tiles. The backs and edges have some residue plaster and the backs have some discolouration. Please see pictures for condition details. The tiles have an elegant appearance and would be perfect for adding character to a cast iron tiled fire or to add character and charm to a home project.
