A fantastic modern reproduction cast iron fire back. The fire back is very large and heavy and weighs approximately 20 stone /120kg. The fire back has a traditional style appearance with a copy of a Charles 1st era design. The fire back has C R cast in to the front face with a crown, lion and unicorn. The fire back has a large arched top that accommodates the crown design. The cast iron has been blacked and polished and has a good finish. The fire back is reclaimed and has some slight signs of wear. There are some very small patches of surface rust to the front face and some light scratches and marks. The back has some surface rust and tarnish. The fire back is extremely heavy. Please ensure you have a suitable vehicle for transporting the fire back and enough people to move the fire back once at home (the fire back cannot be moved by one person alone). A very desirable item due to its size and design, the fire back is perfect for adding character to a hearth.
