Dimensions:
A petite, reclaimed, cast iron fire basket. The fire basket is hand made and has a nice, traditional, appearance with open back and sides and 6 spiked, curved, front bars for holding in logs. The spiked bars have ball detailing. The fire basket has four slim legs and there are wide gaps between the grill bars for allowing air to circulate. The iron has been blacked and polished and it has a quality finish. The fire basket is a reclaimed item and has some small signs of use, as expected. There are some small marks, knocks and scratches. Please see pictures for condition details. The fire basket has a nice appearance suited to both period and modern properties and would add character to a fireplace.
