A very nice reclaimed large cast iron swans nest fire basket and decorative fire dogs. The fire basket is of a very nice size and has a traditional design with spiked finials on the front and side edges. The fire basket is paired with two elegant ornate fire dogs with an ionic column style design with a shield and scrolled feet. The swans nest basket fits nicely on the arms of the fire dogs. The cast iron has been blacked and polished and has a nice finish. The basket and fire dogs are in very good reclaimed condition with some small signs of use and wear, as expected. The iron has some small scratches, casting marks and pitting. Please see pictures for condition details. The basket and fire dogs have a very nice look and they will make a lovely feature for a fireplace.
