A petite reclaimed iron fire basket and very nicely made reclaimed iron fire dogs. The basket has a simple design with vertical bars on the front and back and the sides have horizontal bars. The back of the grill area is slightly curved. The fire basket has thin feet that hook into the fire dogs. The fire dogs have a very nice design with spiked finials, iron studs and elegant scrolled feet. The fire dogs have double bars, allowing the fire basket to slot in-between them. The basket and fire dogs have been blacked and polished and they have a good finish. The fire basket and dogs are in good solid reclaimed condition with some signs of use and wear. Both the basket and fire dogs have some small scratches and some pitting. Please see pictures for condition details. The fire basket and dogs are of a good size for a smaller fireplace and have a very nice design that would add great character to a fireplace.
