An extremely heavy, reclaimed, large cast iron fire back. The fire back has a fluted design and has been sprayed black using a heatproof spray paint. The fireback is very large but we can cut it to reduce it in size for an extra charge, if you require. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The fire back is in good solid condition with some small signs of wear and age. There are some small knocks and casting marks. The back and edges have some surface rust, as expected. Please see pictures for condition details. The fire back is ideal for use in a large fireplace, perhaps paired with a fire basket or fire dogs and its classic and simple design makes it suitable for many interior styles.
