A very large, ornate, cast iron combination fire. The fire is a reclaimed reproduction Coalbrookdale fire and has very fine quality castings and designs. The fire has a heavy grape and vine pattern under the mantel, curved smoke hood and in side panels above the fire opening. The sides of the fire have scrolled finial detailing and there are designs on the smoke flap, ashpan and front bars. The fire also has border detailing around the fire opening and feet. The mantel is large, heavy and has an attractive curved edge. The fire is in very good reclaimed condition and the iron has been blacked and polished, giving a lovely colour and finish. The fire has a decorative concrete fireback and is without breaks or cracks. There is some surface rust to the back and some slight marks and scratches. The fire is a heavy and quality item and its design and size would make an interesting and attractive feature in a home.
