Dimensions:
An elegant, classic style, cast iron combination fireplace dating to approximately 1935. The fire is of an ideal size for a living room, dining room or larger bedroom. The fire has a simple design that would compliment most interiors, with a canopy smoke hood with serpentine edge and simple border around the fire opening. The fire has the original decorative front bars and fixing lugs at the top of the feet and on either side, under the mantel. The iron has been blacked and polished and has a lovely finish. The fire is in good antique condition with some light signs of use and wear. The back has surface rust as expected. The fire has some casting marks, chips and scratches. The smoke flap is not original and has been made for the fire. The concrete fire back has a crack but is solid and secure. The simple design of the fire makes it perfect for a period or modern property and is a solid and well made item.
