An attractive cast iron, Neo Georgian, bedroom combination fire, dating to C.1920. The fire is petite and has a classic appearance with a plain border around the opening and the top of the fire opening is curved. The fire has a pretty ash pan cover with flower detailing on the handle and the original top plate is present. The fire has been blacked and polished and has a fantastic finish. The fire is suited to decorative use and is of the ideal size for a bedroom. The fire is in good condition but does have some damage and wear from use. The back has some surface rust. One fixing lug has been replaced and there is some slight damage to the side where the fixing lug was broken off. The front of the fire has some casting marks, knocks and small scratches. There are some scratches, casting marks or light surface cracks to the mantel. The fire brick has some light scratches. The fire has a pretty appearance that would be ideal for both period and modern homes. The fire is a lovely item that would add great period charm to a home.
