A decorative, reproduction, reclaimed cast iron combination fire. The fire, made by The Gallery, has a beautiful design inspired by Victorian fireplaces, with Celtic scroll designs and geometric patterns. The arched fire opening has decorative borders and the mantel has a moulded edge. The fire retains its top plate, grill, curved front bars and ashpan cover. There are four lugs for fixing the fire to the wall. The fire is large and of a good size for a living room or dining room. The iron has been blacked and polished and has a fantastic finish. The back of the fire has the makers name and the name of the design, "The Celtic". The fire is in good reclaimed condition but has some slight signs of use. The back has some surface rust. The front of the fire has some light scratches and marks. There is some light tarnish and surface rust to the underside of the grill. The mantel has new screws and they do not sit totally flush. The fire has a fantastic appearance and it would be ideal for adding period style charm to a home.
