Dimensions:
A reclaimed, reproduction, cast iron arched fire insert by Gallery. The fire insert is a reproduction of period designs and has a pretty and classic design with a large arched opening with decorative border surrounding it. The insert has curved front bars with a decorative design and scrolling leaves along the bottom front bar. The front bars are removeable, if required. The top plate has a crown design on it. There is an ashpan cover with small handle below the front bars. The iron has had a heat proof black spray paint applied to it.
The fire insert is in solid reclaimed condition with some signs of use and wear, as expected of reclaimed items. The iron has some knocks from use. The back has some surface rust. There are some scratches and marks to the black finish. Please see pictures for condition details. The fire has a very nice classic look and will be ideal for adding character to a fireplace.
