A petite cast iron Victorian fire front and pine fire surround, ideal for a bedroom or smaller reception room. The fire front has a pretty design with repeating pattern border around the arched fire opening and curved front bars. The fire front can be paired with a fire stool and concrete back. The iron has been blacked and polished and has an attractive finish. The insert is paired with a fire surround made of old reclaimed pine. The surround has an attractive design with carved corbels at the top of the legs. The pine is stripped and ready for finishing by purchaser with a wax, oil or paint. The surround and fire front are antique and have some slight signs of wear as expected of reclaimed items. There are some light scratches and marks to the iron and the surround has some small patch repairs, minor surface splits and a few small holes. The back of the fire front has surface rust. The fire front and surround have a classic look that is ideal for a period property and would add character and charm to a bedroom.
