An elegant, reclaimed, painted pine fire surround ideal for a living or dining room. The fire surround has a classic, traditional, appearance with 3D columns running down each leg. The mantel has carved edging and there is a simple border around the fire opening. The surround has been painted white and the mantel top has been sanded to bare wood but purchaser could sand and re-paint the surround to suit. The surround can be paired with a cast iron fire insert. The fire surround is in good useable condition but has some signs of use and wear, as expected of reclaimed items. The pine has some knocks, marks and chips. There are some knocks to the front edge of the mantel and around the fire opening. The paint has some flaking and marks. The stripped mantel top has some stains, residue paint and marks and there are some thin surface splits in the pine. One foot has a thin crack but the leg is stable. The back of the legs have pine batons added so the surround sits flush with the wall. Please see pictures for condition details. The fire surround has a nice,traditional, appearance that would suit a period or modern home and would be a lovely addition to a fireplace.
