A very elegant, reclaimed, hand carved pine fire surround. The surround has a beautiful appearance with ornate carved leaves and a crossed ribbon design in the centre of the cross bar. The feet have simple carved detailing. The fire surround is ideal for pairing with a cast iron insert. The pine has a good colour and has been waxed to give the surround a nice finish. The surround is reclaimed and therfore has some signs of use and wear. There are some scratches and marks and there are holes from fixing screws. There is a small amount of paint residue visible. The corner joints have some slight separation and there are some knocks and chips. Please see pictures for condition details. The fire surround has a fantastic design and would be ideal for adding character and charm to a fire place.
