Dimensions:
A reclaimed, ornate, pine fire surround with delicate detailing in relief. The surround has a very nice appearance and is a reproduction of traditional designs of the late Victorian period. The crossbar has Adam style swags and bows that were popular in the Victorian era. There is fluted detailing down each leg and dentil moulding under the mantel. The top of each leg has a pretty flower motif. The pine has a very attractive wood grain and the fire surround has been waxed. The surround could be paired with a cast iron insert or fire basket or used for decorative purposes. The surround is in good reclaimed condition with some signs of use, as expected. There are some small knocks and chips to the pine. The pine has some scratches and marks. There is some staining and water damage to the top of the mantel. The sides of the legs have some holes for fixing screws. Please see pictures for condition details. The fire surround has a very pretty look and is ideal for a period home, making a fantastic addition to a fireplace.
