Code: FS0449
Dimensions:
A large reclaimed pine fire surround. The fire surround is a modern reproduction of Georgian style designs and has a classic look with decorative roundels at each end of the cross bar and fluted detailing down the legs. There is a repeating border under the mantel. The pine has had a waxed finish and the surround has a nice deep colour. There are metal fixing tabs on each side of the fire surround, under the mantel and one on each leg.
The surround is in good reclaimed condition with some signs of use, as expected. The pine has some small marks, knocks and scratches. The mantel has some discolouration, staining and water marks. There are some very small holes and splinters. There are some thin gaps where some of the mouldings meet. Please see pictures for condition details. The fire surround could be paired with a cast iron insert and it is of a nice design, ideal for many interiors and it would make a good feature for a room.
