A very pretty, reclaimed, reproduction Georgian style cast iron fire trim suitable for surrounding a fire basket or small wood burner. The insert has a lovely horseshoe shaped inside edge that is complimented by acanthus leaves on the legs and acorns and leaves at the top. The iron has been blacked and polished and has an attractive finish. The back has the makers name "Acquisitions" on the back, as well as the design name of the fire. The trim is in good useable condition however there are some slight signs of use and wear, as expected of reclaimed items. The trim has some scratches, especially to the right hand side, small knocks and pitting from casting. The back has surface rust. A good example of Georgian style design, the trim is a very desirable item and is ideal for a period or modern home.
